Curriculum Design & Ed-Tech for Gifted Learners

Working in two Gifted and Talented Learners school in Baqa elGharbia and Kufr Kare’ in Israel, I developed  STEM Education Curriculum with the collaboration of the school teams. In addition to that I was responsible for creating online learning materials in different domains, doing virtual meetings to connect our students with local and global leaders, and facilitate the school online learning platform. Also, as teacher for entrepreneurship and visual communication, I created a low-cost makerspace in Baqa’s school, through it, the learners were able to create artifacts and digital media projects while learning about art history and visual communication concepts.

Through the curriculum development, I also helped teachers by supporting them to understand how to use technology in an interactive way during their classes, than just screening a presentation, and also, how to use technology to motivate students to learn science and engineering. We had amazing results, our approach in making and connected learning helped our students to come up with innovative solutions in courses I taught, and other courses that my colleagues taught.

I presented our work in an interactive workshop at the  Gifted & Talented Learners Arab Teachers Conference, Israel (06/2015), on the following topic: Technology Innovation and Business Modeling in Education for Gifted and Talented Learners.
